Daystar University Acquires a Luxury Bus
On July 18, 2023, Daystar University received and dedicated a new 62-seater luxury coach during a Chapel service held at Main campus Athi River. The dedication ceremony was attended by the Vice-chancellor, Prof. Laban Ayiro, Company Member Emeritus Rt. Rev. Joseph Kanuku, Company Board Vice-chair, Dr. Stanley Mukolwe, Council Member Mrs. Lilian Ogolla, DVC Finance Administration and Planning Prof Muturi Wachira, DVC Academic Research and Student Affairs Prof. Faith Nguru, University Chaplain Rev. AA Kenya donates 1,000 tree seedlings to Daystar University
On Thursday July 13, 2023, Daystar University planted 1,000 tree seedlings in collaboration with AA Kenya. The seedlings were donated by AA Insurance Brockers, a subsidiary of AA Kenya.
DLPDI Hosts Church Leadership & Governance Dialogue
The momentous three-day event was held in partnership with the National Council of Churches of Kenya (NCCK), the Organization of African Instituted Churches, Christian Alliance for National Transformation (CANAT), Kenya Coalition of Church Alliances and Ministry (KCCAM) and the Daystar Leadership & Professional Development Institute (DLPDI).
Senate and Management Annual Retreat

The Daystar University School of Arts and Social Sciences, in partnership with the University of Johannesburg invites abstract submissions for the 3rd Daystar Annual conference. The international academic conference will take place on 11th – 13th October 2023.
Daystar University Actuarial Students feted
Daystar University Actuarial students, Susan Wamae and Fredrick Maina were recently crowned the winners of the 2023 National Product Designing Competition organized by the Actuarial students Society of Kenya (ASSK). The duo emerged the winners of the Actuarial Students Society of Kenya Product Design Competition that was held on 6th and 7th July 2023 at KCA University.

Mugo was professor emeritus of literature at Syracuse University in the US, where she spent last part of her active academic career in the department of African American studies.
