Daystar University Hosts the University of Maryland and Shepherd University​​

Daystar University is hosting students and faculty from the University of Maryland (UMD), and Shepherd University.  The two American universities are participating in the annual Study Abroad program. This year’s program began on Monday 27th May and will run for three weeks.

First Cohort of Mission and Theology

On 29th April 2024, Daystar University School of Mission and Theology received its first cohort of students for a one-year of intensive training. The 19 participants are drawn from diverse professions including Education Civil Engineering, Law, Veterinary Medicine, Psychology, Social Work, and Small Business Owners.  The program is domiciled at the main campus Athi River, where the students, mostly international, reside.

Destiny Leadership Development Program Jan 2024

Vice-chancellor addresses PhD Clinical Psychology students

Prof Laban Ayiro Launches Book on Arson in Kenyan Secondary Schools

On 5th October, the Vice-chancellor, Prof. Laban P. Ayiro was a guest of honour and panel discussant at the launch of a new book, Burning Ambition: Education, Arson, and Learning Justice in Kenya authored by Dr. Elizabeth Cooper, a social anthropologist who conducts research concerning children and youth, education, violence, and inequality, with a primary focus to Kenya.
