Daystar University receives international research grant from CCCU
NAIROBI, Kenya) — Daystar University has received a research grant from The Council for Christian Colleges & Universities (CCCU), based in Washington DC in USA. Announcing the 2023 research grants in Washington DC on 19th September 2023, CCCU President Shirley Hoogstra confirmed that a total of US$ 68,000 was released to five research teams comprising a total 23 scholars representing 11 CCCU member colleges and universities, and four additional institutions which include Daystar University.

Five Daystar University researchers have published a paper entitled The Exploitation of Religious Symbols in Political Rhetoric in Kenya: A Critical Perspective , in the International Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences.
Daystar University Wins International Research Grant to Study Shakahola horror
The competitive grant was awarded by the Council of Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU) to a team of researchers led by Prof. Laban Ayiro, the Vice Chancellor. The other researchers are Prof. Egara Kabaji, Dr. Caroline Ayuya Muaka, and Dr. Martin Munyao.
