Daystar University Vice Chancellor Prof. Laban Ayiro, has been appointed to the Board of Christian Higher Education (CHE). This is a prestigious high impact International Journal of Research, Theory, and Practice. More glorifying is that this is a Taylor & Francis title! The journal serves and intentionally supports Christ-centered higher education and is known as the “go to” outlet for empirical studies of Christian colleges and universities.

On 28th July 2023, Daystar Information Technology Association (DITA) held a career talk for Computer Science students at the Nairobi Campus. The event brought together various technology gurus from across the Nation among them Daystar alumni. They were hosted by the Head of Computer Science Department, Ms. Zipporah Mwololo.
Applied Computer Science student selected for global exchange program
Ms. Mercy Wanjiru Thiga (Adm: 21-2096), a second year BSc Applied Computer Science student at currently the vice president of Daystar Information Technology Associaion (DITA) was recently selected for Global Exchange program. Ms. Thiga travels on her birthday, 7th August, for the Fall Semester at the University of Mississippi in USA.

The Vice-chancellor Prof. Laban P. Ayiro is away in USA for fundraising activities from 22nd July to 8th August 2023. During his absence, the DVC Finance, Administration and Planning Prof. Muturi Wachira will be the Acting Vice-chancellor.
