MPESA Foundation Academy seeks partnership with Daystar University
On 1st September, the MPESA Foundation Academy (Uongozi Center) Director, Christian Gulzow and John Kipkemboi paid a courtesy visit to Daystar University Vice-chancellor Prof. Laban P. Ayiro at his Nairobi Campus office. The VC was accompanied by the Director DLPDI, Prof. A. K. Waithama, Director ODEL, Dr. Caroline Ayuya, Corporate Affairs Manager, Mrs. Damaris Kimilu and Marketing Officer, Mr. Alex Mutuku. The aim of the meeting was to discuss possible partnership between Daystar University and the MPESA Foundation Academy, in offering professional and academic courses to their graduates
Nguumo and Maliku Girls Secondary Schools visit Daystar University
On Wednesday 31st August, Daystar University hosted high school students from Nguumo and Maliku Girls Secondary Schools at the Main Campus Athi River The students who were accompanied by four teachers, two from each school, visited to experience life in the university.
Over 2000 students admitted into September 2022 Trimester
On 5th September, Daystar University Main Campus was bustling with activities as 933 new students reported on the first day of orientation. These were a part of more than 2300 students admitted for the September 2022 intake.

Daystar University receives visiting Professors
On August 4, 2022, Daystar University received two visiting professors from two American universities. Prof. Dale Johnson from the University of Maryland and Prof. LeAnn Johnson from Shepard’s University will teach in the School of Business and Economics, and the School of Arts and Social Sciences respectively, during the August/December 2022 semester.
PRSK launches Certification programme in collabration with Daystar University
Nairobi, 4th August 2022 – The Public Relations Society of Kenya has today launched its premier certification programme dubbed Certified Public Relations Professional (CPRCP) course. The launch event took place today at breakfast meeting held at the Villa Rosa Kempinski Hotel in Nairobi. The course, the first of its kind in East Africa, was crafted by local professors and senior practitioners with the African Public Relations Practitioner in mind. The programme is a key component of the proposed Institute of Public Relations and Communications Management (IPRAC) Bill, which is currently awaiting approval by parliament.
New Students officially admitted to Daystar
The May 2022 trimester intake closed on June 11, with 900 students admitted into Daystar University. Students who reported in the first week of admission were matriculated at a ceremony held at the Main Campus, Athi River on May 18, 2022.
