On 12th March 2024, Daystar University and Yatima Outreach Organization signed a 3-year working agreement at the Nairobi Campus Council Room. Representing Daystar University was the Vice-chancellor, Prof. Laban P. On the 12th of March 2024, the School of Communication hosted a thought-provoking Public Lecture on Artificial Intelligence and Education. The lecture which was held at DAC Auditorium, shed light on both the potential benefits and hidden dangers of this rapidly advancing technology. The lecture attracted diverse audience from various institutions including Riara University, St. Paul’s University, Maasai Mara University and Daystar University students and faculty.

Vice-chancellor's Engagements in the USA
Daystar University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Laban Ayiro travelled to the US on Friday 19th January to attend the Council for Christian Colleges & Universities (CCCU 2024) Presidents Conference at Washington, DC. In addition to the Conference, the VC has been engaged with Friends-raising and Fund-Raising activities and travelling to different States as well as holding Strategic meetings.
