First Cohort of Mission and Theology
On 29th April 2024, Daystar University School of Mission and Theology received its first cohort of students for a one-year of intensive training. The 19 participants are drawn from diverse professions including Education Civil Engineering, Law, Veterinary Medicine, Psychology, Social Work, and Small Business Owners. The program is domiciled at the main campus Athi River, where the students, mostly international, reside.
Cyberpro Academy inaugurated at Daystar University
In a historical collaboration between Daystar University's School of Science, Engineering, and Health, and CyberPro Global Limited, a Cyber Academy was inaugurated at the University’s BCC building. The event marked a significant stride towards training and fortifying Kenya's cybersecurity defenses. Representing the Israeli Ambassador to Kenya Mr. Michael Lotem, was Mr. Barak Granot, who is in charge of Israeli Economic and Trade Mission to Kenya.

Company Board Chairman Rev. Dr. Matthews Mwal’wa and DVC ARSA Prof. Faith Nguru, led a team from Daystar University to South African to attend the burial of Daystar University Co-founder, Dr. S.E Motsoko Pheko. In the team was Former Company Board Chair Rev. Dr. Macmillan Kiiru, Company Board Member Mrs. Bernice Gatere and Council Secretariat, Ms Patricia Wambua. Representing Don’s Smith’s family was his daughter Dr. Julisa Rowe.

Phase 7 of Tree Planting
Daystar University has planted another 10, 000 trees at Main Campus Athi River. The tree planting exercise which took place on April 11, 2024, was led by the State Department for Forestry, and Kenya Forest services, Machakos County.
