Daystar Vice Chancellor Feted

[Nairobi, Friday August 30, 2024] The Institute of Certified Secretaries (ICS) of Kenya recently feted Daystar University Vice Chancellor Prof. Laban P. Ayiro with the prestigious Award of Fellowship of Certified Secretary (FCS) in recognition of his extraordinary contribution to governance and society.  

The Award was presented to Prof. Ayiro at a gala event held at the Sarova Panafric Hotel in Nairobi on 30th August 2024.

Recipients were evaluated against a comprehensive set of criteria, and only those who met the highest standards were recommended for this distinguished recognition.

The award is a celebration of the highest standards of professionalism, integrity and service. Prof. Ayiro’s contribution to quality education and academic leadership are key highlights of his profound impact on the educational landscape in Kenya and world at large.

Other eminent persons awarded alongside Prof. Ayiro were Dr. Benjamin Kipchumba Tarus, Dr. Nancy Muriuki, CS Happi Kilongosi, Isaac Nduru, Paraag Devani, and Samson Kibii.
