University Choir shines in Kenya Music Festival 2024

University choir performing in the Kenya Music Festival held at Moi Girls High School Eldoret - 5th to 12th August 2024

The Daystar University choir participated in the Kenya Music Festival held at Moi Girls High School Eldoret from August 5-12, 2024. The choir took home the following awards:

The choir was invited to perform during the 2024 Kenya Music Finalists concert that took place at Moi Girls’ High School, Eldoret on August 12 2024.

They performed Class 893 - Live Instrumental Accompaniment Choir and Class 894 – African Gospel Music. They were invited to perform at the State Concert on Friday August 16, 2024 but they were unable to stay on.

Simon Pistache, a member of Daystar University choir displays the trophy for 1st place in the Zilizopendwa Category in the KMF 2024

The University choir was accompanied by the choir Director, Mr. Moses Alubala, assisted by faculty members, Mrs. Jacqueline Wasonga, Ms. Muthoni Njenga, Mr. Bill Rowe and the Choir trainer Mr. Muyale Inzai.
