Daystar University
On 19th September 2023, Her Excellency Pastor Dr. Dorcas Rigathi, Second Lady of the Republic of Kenya officially opened a Mental Health Summit at Daystar University's Nairobi Campus.
The Summit, themed Youth Chronicles: Hope, Healing, Harmony, was organised by My Afya Africa.
Pastor Dr. Rigathi challenged the Kenyan society, particularly the youth, to reach out for help rather than fight depression and mental stress alone.
"We your parents love you and are trying to understand you and your struggles, please do not shut us out,“ she pleaded.
