This week, Daystar University was among 16 universities that attended a highly competitive Career Fair held at Karima Girls’ High School in North Kinangop, Nyandarua County on 18th May 2023.
During the Career Fair, different institutions took turns to present academic programs they offer in order to guide students on prospective career choices.
Daystar University’s Marketing team of five was led by Mrs. Hellen Ogodo. High school students were given time to interact with the institutions in the tents the entire afternoon.
The universities present were Strathmore, Murang’a, St. Paul’s, Kenyatta, Zetech, Karatina, Daystar, Dedan Kimathi, Murang’a, Pioneer International, University of Nairobi, Africa International University, Egerton, University of Eastern Baraton, Catholic University of Eastern Africa, and JKUAT. Other institutions present were Sensei Institute, KASNEB, Air Travel and Related studies, Tatu Aviators and Kipipiri Technical Training institute.
The career fair was attended by more than 3,000 high school students from Mount Kinangop Girls, Magumu High, Nyandarua High School, Nandarasi High School, Muimui Secondary School, and the host Karima Girls High School, among others.
More than 2,500 students visited the Daystar tent which stood out among the rest. The intense engagement will bear results from January 2024.
