The Fulbright Scholar chose Daystar University for his Sabbatical, because of its Christian persuasion. Towards this end, Prof. Kabaji began to participate in spiritual nurture programmes, including Bible study and Chapel services, as soon as he set foot at Daystar University.

In an interview with the Infopsot, Prof. Kabaji had this to say:
“There is something special about Daystar University. Starting from the gate, the guards will cordially welcome you in. Inside the compounds of the two campuses of the University, you will meet polite and graceful staff ready to do anything to make you comfortable. The wind of lissomeness pervades the atmosphere. There is order and seraphic tranquility in the library, classrooms, cafeteria and the well-manicured spaces of the campuses. Nothing short of celestial bliss! The students are decently dressed and environmentally conscious. They are polite, affable, illuminating and dignified. Prof. Laban Ayiro and staff, I am impressed! What is the magic?"
We hope Prof. Kabaji will find and identify with the spirit of Daystar; what he calls the ‘magic’ as he sets out to become a true Daystarian who is excellent, transformed and a servant leader.
The Infospot wishes Prof. Egara Kabaji well as he spends his Sabbatical leave at Daystar University.
