Faculty and Staff Christmas Luncheon
Daystar University will hold a Christman luncheon for Faculty and Staff on 20th December 2023 in the Amphitheatre, Main Campus, Athi River from 12:00p.m. and in Nairobi Campus at DAC Auditorium.
Daystar University 46th Graduation Ceremony
Daystar University will confer 1500 graduands with diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate certificates during its 46th graduation ceremony to be held at Daystar University’s Athi River Campus on 10th   November 2023.Â
Celebrating the life of Mrs. Faye Smith, 1928 - 2023
Daystar University announces the transition to glory of Faye Smith that happened on Friday 6th October, 2023. Faye was born on 26th December 1928 in Eugene, Oregon, USA, and married Donald Kendall Smith on 25th June, 1950. They began their missionary career in 1952 in South Africa. Don and Faye later relocated to Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, where they started Daystar Communications with Motsoko Pheko. In 1974 they acquired property in Nairobi with great support from US friends and the Tyndale Foundation in particular, for Daystar Communications, which would later become Daystar University College. Later in 1994, Daystar University College was awarded a Charter by the Government of Kenya to become Daystar University.

Memorial Service held for late Mercy Jerono Kwambai
The Vice-chancellor Prof. Laban Ayiro has called for patience and calm as security agencies carry out investigations to establish the circumstances surrounding the demise of Ms. Mercy Jerono Kwambai, a female first year student whose demise was announced in the early morning hours of Saturday, 9th September 2023.
Vice-Chancellor and Deputy Vice-chancellor’s sign Performance Contracts
On September 1, the Vice-chancellor Prof. Laban P. Ayiro and his deputies, DVC- Academic, Research and Student Affairs, Prof. Faith Nguru, and DVC-Finance Administration and Planning, Prof. Muturi Wachira signed their 2023-2024 performance contracts with the University Council.
Invitation to support Athi Fire Victims
As we're aware, 24 families fell victim to a fire outbreak last night at the Athi River off-Campus community. The University responded fast by extending temporary accommodation and meals to some of the affected, among them 10 minors.
Celebrating the life of Anne Kamunge-Shambi
We have learnt with sadness the bereavement of Daystar University's First Chancellor, Dr. James Kamunge (1994-2004), who has lost his daughter, Anne Kamunge-Shambi.
