In a significant follow-up to the Israel Ambassador's recent visit, Daystar University welcomed officials from MASHAV, Israel's Agency for International Development Cooperation, to discuss the progress of agricultural and water conservation initiatives. This visit was a direct outcome of earlier discussions between the university's Vice Chancellor and Director of Resource Mobilization (DRM) with the Ambassador and Deputy Ambassador of Israel.
The MASHAV delegation, including Mr. Eitan Hatzor and Ms. Stella Wakesho Ninah, was accompanied by Mr. Yariv Kedar, the Africa Managing Director for KEDAR Green Africa Projects. They were greeted by a Daystar team led by Ms. Jacqueline Mathaga, Director of Resource Mobilization, along with Mr. Richard Maswili, CEO of Daystar Enterprises Limited, Ms. Ruth Mulwa, the Planning Officer, Ms. Sonia Mutende, Ag. University Services Manager, and Mr. Charles Katua, a faculty member from the School of Business & Economics.
During their visit, the delegation toured the university's agricultural projects and engaged in discussions about expansion plans. Daystar University aims to collaborate with MASHAV to integrate advanced Israeli technology into its agricultural practices, enhancing productivity and sustainability.
This visit marks a crucial step in strengthening the partnership between Daystar University and MASHAV, emphasizing the university's commitment to leveraging innovative solutions for agricultural development and water conservation.
