On 7th June 2024, Kristina Wright from Hope Haven Rwanda visited Daystar University Main Campus Athi River, to explore the possibility of admitting Hope Haven students to Daystar University on attainment of entry level requirements.
Kristina who was accompanied by her 19-year-old son, Camden, and the director of Hope Haven Rwanda, Emile Uwamahoro, was hosted by the Director of Resource Mobilization Ms. Jacqueline Mathaga, and Senior Registrar, Time tabling, Ms. Winnie Gathere. The discussions also touched on potential collaboration in developing students scholarships.
“Hope Haven Rwanda works to transform families through Christ-centred education,” said Ms. Wright, adding that Daystar University and Hope Haven had a shared focus on the provision of biblically-based education.
Hope Haven Rwanda educates students from a tender age up to university level.
Kristina Wright is a longtime supporter of Daystar University. She first visited the Athi River Campus 27 years ago along with her husband, during which time they planted trees and supported the library.
For nearly three decades, Kristina has supported Daystar students through scholarships.
