Today, December 1, 2022, Daystar University received the new Chaplain, Rev. John Miano Weche. Rev. Miano was received at the Main Campus Athi River by immediate former Chaplain Rev. Steven Nduto, DVC Academic Research and Student Affairs Prof. Faith Nguru, Faculty and staff.

Daystar University Prayer Week
Dayster University Prayer week starts on Monday 26th September 2022 until Friday 30th September 2022. The University will set aside its daily operations and gather on Tuesday, 27 September 2022 in both Nairobi and Athi River Campus to pray and commit the August 2022 semester to God. The activities of the week is as follows;
Dr. George Njoroge appointed as Chairman of Daystar University Council
The Daystar Company Limited, the Sponsor of Daystar University, has appointed Dr. George Njoroge as the next Chairman of the Daystar University Council for a renewable term of three years. His appointment takes effect on 1st July 2022 and will last until 30th June 2025.
Application for November 2022 45th Graduation
Application for November Graduation is now open. Only students who have completed their programs are encouraged to apply in advance. Students who are yet to complete will have to wait until they have all the grades before they apply. The application process required the applicant to download the attached application form. Print it and visit the office of the university registrar to get the final degree audit, before proceeding to your HOD/Dean.
Daystar Launches Graduate students’ Handbook
On March 29, 2022, the Vice-chancellor Prof. Laban P Ayiro launched the Graduate Students Handbook at the Nairobi Campus, DAC Auditorium. In his address, the VC stated that he had set a target of graduating 120 PhDs, 600 Master’s graduates, and raise 25 full professors before ending hie term in office
Mr. Thomas Okoth Koyier Appointed Member of the National Gender and Equity Commission (NGEC)
On December 21, 2021 Daystar Faculty member in the School of Business and Economics Mr. Thomas Okoth Koyier was appointed, along with others, as a member of the National Gender and Equity Commission (NGEC). Congratulating him during his new year address to staff, the Vice chancellor Prof. Laban Ayiro, charged Mr. Koyier to strengthen and position Daystar University through his appointment.
