This past week, the Vice Chancellor Prof. Laban P. Ayiro attended the Comparative and International Education (CIES) 2022 Conference held from April 18-22, 2022, in the city of Minneapolis, Minnesota.  The theme of the conference was Illuminating the Power of Idea/lism.

On Wednesday 20th April, Prof. Ayiro made a presentation on the Study on “The Political Economy of Learning in Kenya.”

CIES is dedicated to increasing understanding of educational issues, trends, and policies through comparative, intercultural, and international perspectives. CIES organizes and provides conferences, publications, professional networking and research support for the field of comparative and international education.

The mission of CIES, Inc. is to contribute to an understanding of education through encouragement and promotion of comparative education and related areas of inquiry and activity.
