Students who reported for the May 2024 intake were officially admitted to Daystar University in a matriculation ceremony which took place at the Amphitheatre, Main Campus Athi River, on Wednesday, May 15, 2024.

In his address to the new students, the VC stated that what matters is not where one came from but where he or she is going.

The VC urged the new students to spend hours working so that they can become the best.

“Keep disruptive emotions in check,” said the VC, adding that 60 percent of what one becomes is determined by his/her emotional intelligence.

The DVC ARSA, Prof. Faith Nguru’s prayer was that God would give the students strength to develop so that they can in turn impact society. She further called on the students to identify mentors to inspire them among their lecturers and people in their academic disciplines.

The students affirmed through personal declaration of assent, that they were willing to adhere to Daystar University’s code of conduct. With a verbal declaration supported by a signed document, the students were officially admitted into Daystar University.
