Associate Professor / Full Professor of Research Methods – 2 Positions

Associate Professor / Full Professor of Research Methods – 2 Positions

• Quantitative Research Methods
• Qualitative Research Methods
• Mixed Methods Research
• Research Design and Methodology
• Meta-Analysis
• Data Analysis Techniques
• Action Research and Evaluation Studies

Required Qualifications

• For Associate Professor:
  • An earned a PhD in Research Methods, Pure Sciences, Social Sciences, Education, or a related field from an accredited university.
  • At least three (3) years of teaching experience at the university level, with a demonstrable record in research and publication.
  • A minimum of 48 publication points as a Senior Lecturer, with at least 32 referred scholarly journals.
• For Full Professor:
  • An earned PhD in Research Methods, Social Sciences, Pure Sciences, Education, or a related field from an accredited university.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience teaching at the university level, with a robust record of research, publication, and leadership in academic settings.
  • A minimum of 96 publication points, with a significant number of publications in reputable, peer-reviewed journals.

Required Experience:

• Proven experience in supervising postgraduate students to completion, including at least three doctoral candidates (Full Professorship) and at least one doctoral candidate (Associate Professor).
• Evidence of ability to attract research funding and lead research projects.
• Strong commitment to mentoring students and faculty in research methodologies.
• Demonstrated success in interdisciplinary collaboration and community engagement related to research.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in research methods.
• Supervise and mentor graduate students in their research projects and dissertations.
• Conduct high-quality research publications in peer-reviewed journals.
• Develop and implement innovative research strategies that align with the university's mission.
• Engage with the academic community and participate in conferences and workshops.
• Contribute to curriculum development and enhancement of research capacity within the university.
