[Athi River, January 14, 2025]  Freshmen attended their inaugural chapel service at the Amphitheater, Main Campus Athi River on Tuesday 14th January.

Speaking from Joshua 1:6-9, Deputy Chaplain Nairobi Campus Rev. Susan Siole, encouraged the students to take courage anchored on trust in God.

“You have already gone through the wilderness and are now in the promised land,” Rev. Susan Siole drew parallelism with the Israelites’ journey from Egypt, assuring them victory in the end.

Through a panel discussion facilitated by Pastoral Assistant Tabitha Mutheu, the new students also drew inspiration from the experiences of alumni and continuing students.

"Do not suffer alone in silence while at Daystar University. Daystar staff are here to help you," urged Ms. Irene Kimani, faculty member in the Counselling Psychology department.
