Marketing efforts intensified ahead of May 2023 intake

From 24th to 27th March 2023, Ms. Jean Murungi led a marketing team to Mwaani Girls High School in Makueni courtesy of the Chief Manager HR Mr. Pius Muia who was preaching at a weekend challenge. They also visited some 10 other schools in the area, where they interacted with the Principals/Deputy Principals and career teachers.

The Corporate Affairs department has intensified marketing campaigns in high schools ahead of May 2023 Intake. The current form four class will be joining the university in January 2024.

From 24th to 27th March 2023, Ms. Jean Murungi led a marketing team to Mwaani Girls High School in Makueni courtesy of the Chief Manager HR Mr. Pius Muia who was preaching at a weekend challenge. They also visited some 10 other schools in the area, where they interacted with the Principals/Deputy Principals and career teachers.  

Over the same period, Ms. Hellen Ogodo and Ms. Lilian Akinyi led another team to a career fair at St. Francis Rapogi High School in Migori County.  Besides giving plenary presentations, the team had one-on-one career guidance sessions with Form Four and Form Three students. 

Besides Daystar University, institutions present at the Career Fair attended by other High Schools included Maseno University, Moi University, University of Nairobi, and JKUAT, and KUCCPS.  

On 23rd March, Bernard Omollo led a team of marketers to CITAM Valley Road for Ex-candidates career fair event, while Sosnes Olindo attended Ole Tippis Girls National School career fair in Narok County from 24th to 27th March, and Lari Boys High School on 29th March.  

On her part, Ms. Rachael Mwaka was at Kahuhia Girls High School on 26 March, Bingwa Homeschool Group from 29th – 31st March, and back to host Nzeveni Secondary School, Magnet High School, and Karima Boys High School on 31st March.

On 1st April, Rachael Mwaka was at Lavington Girls High School while Mr. Alex Mutuku was at State House Girls High School.

Upcoming school engagements include: Embakasi Garrison School on 19th May, Moi Girls High School Kamusinga on 26th May, Gathirimu Girls Technical High School on 27th May, and National Music Festivals from 12th - 23rd August.
