Rev. Steven Nduto,  Lecturer in the Department of Theology and Pastoral Studies, School of Arts and Social Sciences was this week elected Secretary of Society Christian Scholars Society Africa,  Kenya Chapter.  

The election took place during the 2nd Africa Conference of Christian Scholars held at Kenyatta University from 10th - 11th August 2023.  The new Board will serve a four year term until August 2027.

The full Executive Board comprises :

1. Prof. Paul Mbugua - President (Kenyatta University).
2. Dr. Mary Mahugu - Vice President (Moi University).
3. Rev. Steven Nduto - Secretary (Daystar University).
4. Dr. Elizabeth Adang'o - Vice Secretary (Kenyatta University).
5. Dr. Joyce Wangia - Member (Kenyatta University).
6. Prof. Daniel Gakunga - Treasurer (University of Nairobi).

Also attending the same conference from Daystar University was Dr. Peter Oduor and Dr. Peter Maurice Mutua.

Rev. Nduto is the immediate former Chaplain of Daystar University where he served from 2009 - 2022 when he transitioned to teaching.

We congratulate Rev. Nduto and wish him well as he serves Christian scholars in Kenya
