In a grand celebration of achievement and growth Daystar Leadership and Professional Development (DLPDI) held graduation ceremony for 85 ex-candidates who participated in the Destiny programme, themed "Focused on my Destiny," on 11th March 2024.
The event, hosted by MC Jane Irungu, commenced at 10:00 a.m. with a soul-stirring praise and worship session led by the talented Destiny Team. The atmosphere was charged with anticipation and reverence as Campus Chaplain Assistant Felix Simotwo delivered a moving devotion, drawing inspiration from Proverbs 3:5-6 and encouraging the graduands to trust in the Lord as they embarked on their future paths.

The ceremony unfolded with heartfelt class presentations that encapsulated the transformative journey of each graduate. Debra Kayesu shared her personal growth from self-doubt to self-awareness, highlighting the program's impact on her confidence and decision-making skills. Tito Karangu expressed gratitude for the immersive and empowering experience of the program, emphasizing the transition from youthful eagerness to equipped readiness for life's challenges.
Stephen Kabage praised the program for its purposeful impact on knowledge and responsibility, acknowledging the invaluable lessons learned in spiritual growth and adulthood navigation. Abigael Lorna shared her awe at the program's transformative nature, underscoring its profound impact on her life. The Chinese Group added a cultural flair with a captivating performance of a Chinese song, showcasing diversity and unity among the graduates.
Facilitators BennyHinn Walubengo and Margaret Muthoka shared inspiring stories of personal growth and parental support, emphasizing the importance of resilience and transformation in shaping destinies. The guest speaker, Mr. Daniel Kamau, engaged in a unique interview session with Journalist Simba Kiage, sparking thought-provoking conversations about Africa's youth demographic and the graduands' privileged position within it.
