The deliveries are as a result of several rounds of discussions between the Vice-Chancellor Prof. Laban P. Ayiro and the Chairman and proprietor of DEVKI Group of Companies Dr. Narendra Guru. The roofing iron sheets have been offered at a discounted factory price worth Ksh 8.7 million. The partnership was made possible through the Vice-Chancellor Special Projects Manager, Mrs. Coretta Ndunda.
The Maisha Mabati iron sheets which are considered safe will enable the University harvest rainwater for use within the Main Campus.
