Daystar University has emerged the Most Preferred Institution of Higher Learning.
This was announced at the Employability Summit and Uongozi Career Awards held at the Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA), on November 23, 2023.

Daystar University Vice-chancellor Prof. Laban Ayiro firmly advised the graduating Class of 2023 during the 46th graduation ceremony held at the University’s Graduation Square at Main Campus Athi River.
Daystar University Students Feted at PRSK Boot Camp
On 15th November 2023, Daystar University students won an impressive second position at the PRSK Boot Camp held at St. Paul's University Limuru, under the theme "PR for a Greener Tomorrow."
The annual event, which was organized by Public Relations Society of Kenya (PRSK), attracted participation from over 10 universities and offered a unique opportunity for mentorship from esteemed industry professionals.
On Friday 17th November 2023, Daystar University in conjunction with the Kenya Forest Service planted 2,000 seedlings at the Heroes’ Corner, Main Campus Athi River. The 2000 were part of 10,000 seedlings donated by the Kenya Forest Service.
Lacrosse is a traditional game played by eastern woodlands native Americans and some Plains Indian tribes in what is now the United States of America and Canada. The game involves two men’s teams tossing a ball into the air, and both sides rushing to catch it. Years later Lacrosse is still a popular sport played all over the world.
