Vice Chancellor addresses faculty and staff

[Nairobi, Tuesday September 24, 2024] Earlier this week, the Vice Chancellor Prof. Laban P. Ayiro held separate meetings with teaching and non-teaching staff to set the tone for the new semester. The VC met with lecturers on Monday 23rd September and administrative staff on Tuesday 24th September. Classes for the new semester began on 16th September.

Daystar University Law students finished 4th among 51 English teams in the semi-finals of the Christof Hyn[Nairobi, September 20, 2024] The Daystar University School of Law emerged winner in the just-ended Unwanted Witness Privacy Moot Court Competition which it also hosted at its Nairobi Campus. Daystar University was represented by Buke Halkano, Stacey Maina and Wycliff Kamau (Coordinator).es All Africa Human Rights Moot Competition, in Kigali Rwanda.

[Nairobi, Wednesday September 18, 2024] The Vice Chancellor Prof. Laban P. Ayiro met with the Speaker of the National Assembly, Hon. Moses Wetangula, at Parliament Buildings Nairobi to discuss possible collaboration between Daystar University and the National Assembly.

Vice Chancellor and Deputy Vice Chancellors sign Performance Contracts

[Nairobi, September 18, 2024] Vice Chancellor, Prof. Laban P. Ayiro, Deputy Vice Chancellor- FAP Prof. Muturi Wachira and Deputy Vice Chancellor- ARSA, Prof. Faith Nguru have signed their performance contracts for the year 2024- 2025.

Freshmen matriculated to begin academic journey

[Athi River, Wednesday September 11, 2024] Freshmen who reported for the September 2024 intake were officially admitted to Daystar University in a matriculation ceremony which took place on Wednesday September 11, 2024.

[Monday, September 9, 1024] Since 9th September, Daystar University has bustled with activity as more than 1,500 freshmen admitted continued to stream into our campuses to take up their places.

[Nairobi, Friday August 30, 2024] The Institute of Certified Secretaries (ICS) of Kenya recently feted Daystar University Vice Chancellor Prof. Laban P. Ayiro with the prestigious Award of Fellowship of Certified Secretary (FCS) in recognition of his extraordinary contribution to governance and society.

Faculty and students attend East African Communication Conference

[Dar-es-Salaam, August 30, 2024] Ten Faculty and four postgraduate students from the School of Communication were among Kenyan delegates who attended the 14th East African Communication Association (EACA) conference in Dar e salaam, Tanzania, from 20th - 30th August 2024. The Daystar University team was led by the Dean, School of Communication, Prof. Levi Obonyo.

Daystar Poultry Farm registers positive growth

[Athi River, September 25, 2024] The Daystar poultry farm project started by the School of Applied Human Sciences in 2022 has registered growth both commercially and as a demonstration farm for students taking Agriculture.

[Thursday, September 19, 2024] The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Laban Ayiro, delivered a keynote address on integrity, ethics and leadership at a collaborative webinar involving Daystar University, Management University of Africa, and sponsored by Education Collaborative. The Webinar attracted close to two hundred participants from different countries across the world.
