Daystar University Vice-chancellor Prof. Laban P. Ayiro has been appointed to the Correctional Education Association (CEA) Board of USA as an international representative.

On July 18, 2023, Daystar University received and dedicated a new 62-seater luxury coach during a Chapel service held at Main campus Athi River. The dedication ceremony was attended by the Vice-chancellor, Prof. Laban Ayiro, Company Member Bishop Emeritus Rt. Rev. Joseph Kanuku, Company Board Vice-chair, Dr. Stanley Mukolwe, Council Member Mrs. Lilian Ogolla, DVC Finance Administration and Planning Prof Muturi Wachira, DVC Academic Research and Student Affairs Prof. Faith Nguru, University Chaplain Rev. Miano Weche, members of Management and Senate, students, faculty and staff.

On Thursday July 13, 2023, Daystar University planted 1,000 tree seedlings in collaboration with AA Kenya.  The seedlings were donated by AA Insurance Brockers, a subsidiary of AA Kenya.

From 12th July 2023, Daystar University hosted a three-day dialogue forum on Church Leadership and Governance at its Nairobi Campus.

Preparations are in top gear for the upcoming Grande Innovation Festival to be hosted by the Daystar University Innovation Hub, in September 2023.

This year's annual Senate and Management performance review retreat was held at Bamburi Beach Hotel in Mombasa with over 50 participants in attendance.

Daystar University Actuarial students, Susan Wamae and Fredrick Maina were recently crowned  the winners of the 2023 National Product Designing Competition organized by the Actuarial students Society of Kenya (ASSK)
