Regarding balance, Prof. Mucherah urged participants to intentionally establish life-work balance because it is hard to find.
On Health, the Professor also urged the dons to view health in a holistic way of balancing one’s physical, emotional, social, intellectual, spiritual and occupational dimensions of life.
Dr. Mucherah encouraged faculty to take care of themselves, build mental resilience and strengthen their ability to support those that are dependent on them.
she advised, and encouraged faculty to have adequate sleep, have some sort of physical activity, eat a healthy diet, manage stress, relax, recharge, reflect and develop social support systems.
“Take care of your health because you’ll miss it when it is gone,”
