President Uhuru Kenyatta expressed gratitude to the African Union and its individual member states for standing in solidarity with Kenya, as the country battled with the International Criminal court Cases against its citizens.

“The strong position taken by the African Union and its member states in support of Kenya at the ICC enabled us to succeed. Kenya will continue partnering with other countries in the continent to achieve Africa’s agenda,” President Kenyatta said.

President Kenyatta said it was through the support of friendly countries that the ICC cases facing him, his deputy William Ruto and former radio presenter Joshua Sang collapsed at The Hague.
