ODM leader Raila Odinga is set to visit the Jubilee strongholds when he returns to the country to seek for votes. Mr. Odinga, who is the United States to attend the formal nomination of Democratic Party candidate Hillary Clinton, will hold meetings and rallies in Upper Eastern and Rift Valley regions to expand the party’s support base.

MPs Peter Kaluma (Homa Bay Town), Shakeel Shabbir (Kisumu East), Gideon Ochanda (Bondo), Godfrey Odanga (Matayos) and Opiyo Wandayi (Ugunja) and Homa Bay Senator Moses Kajwang indicated that there were elaborate plans on how the party would reach out to Jubilee zones. Mr Kaluma said when Mr Odinga returns to the country this weekend, he will first embark on a visit to the Coast before heading to Jubilee zones. Mr. Kaluma also said that the party will also welcome other people for instance Nairobi senator Mike Sonko if they join the party without ultimatums.
