Uhuru Kenyatta has urged Kenyans to go for screening so as to detect the diseases earlier. He said that screening would help patients get treatment easily. He says that cancer has become one of the leading killer diseases because Kenyans do not know of the symptoms.

He also said the government has set aside funds to establish more cancer centers to help fight the disease.
