As much as there have been many world conferences in Nairobi over the past one year, Nairobi, has dropped on the list of best cities to live in ,in Africa.
The economic intelligence unit (EIU) survey, which was released on Thursday saw Nairobi on position 125 from 120 out of 140 cities. The EIU survey ranks cities based on categories like healthcare, education, infrastructure, stability alongside culture and environment – the only category in which Nairobi has been performing well.
The report shows the country has remained in the bottom 20of global cities with the best living conditions.
The research aims at guiding companies in setting up shops in new countries and paying repatriates by providing a preview of a countries level of development.
