A South Sudanese woman charged with selling alcohol to teenagers


A South Sudanese woman was today charged with selling alcohol to youth at a house party in Phenom estate, Lang’ata area.

Mary Nanyuk also faces two other counts of selling alcohol without a license at the Lang’ata party and being unlawfully present in Kenya.

She denied the charges and was remanded until Monday next week.

About 106 youths, some as young as 16 years, were arrested yesterday in the house party held in the estate located near Carnivore Restaurant in Lang’ata.
