On Monday, 23rd November 2020 a team from Good News Mission Church, Mahanaim Educational Institute (College) and Good News Broadcasting Station (GBS) led by their Chairman, Pastor Yo Han Kim paid a courtesy call to the Vice-Chancellor; Prof. Laban Ayiro at the Athi River Campus.

Pastor Kim Yohan was accompanied by his wife Kim Wonkyoung, Pastor Sim Juhwan and his wife Lee Jinju, and Miss Cho Yeeun (Principal of Mahanaim Educational Institute.

Among the areas of discussion was a possibility of partnership between Daystar University and Good News Mission Church, particularly in providing practicum opportunities to Communication students at the GBS TV Station.

Additionally, Mahanaim Educational Institute (College) which offers special training on Mind Education, would also like to offer this training at Daystar University.

The Vice-Chancellor welcomed the idea of Mind Education Training, saying this was at the core of Daystar University’s vision and mission as a Christ-centred University. He felt Mind Education training would eventually reduce social evils such as corruption.

Among the areas visited were VC’s Gardens, the Borehole, Communication Studios, the Chapel Site on the hill and the Gym.
