New Students Matriculated

New students who reported for the January 2021 semester were officially admitted into the University on Wednesday 6th January 2021, in a matriculation ceremony held at the Main Campus, Athi River.

The ceremony was presided over by the Vice-chancellor, Prof Laban Ayiro assisted by the DVC Academic Research and Student Affairs, Prof Faith Nguru. He also urged the students to consciously nurture positive thoughts saying that this will enable them become what God intended them to be, further intimating that “The privilege of a lifetime is being who you are.”

The DVC Academic Affairs Prof. Faith Nguru encouraged the freshmen to display discipline, respect, perseverance, loyalty and hard work among other qualities. “Character formation will largely depend on your commitment, hard work, and discipline,” she explained with motherly love.

The DVC later led the students to take the Declaration of Assent charge which commits students to abide by the University’s philosophy and regulations as they study at Daystar University.
