eduroam is a secure wireless network service that allows faculty, staff, and students to use their home institution's wireless credentials to access wireless networks when visiting other eduroam participating institutions. eduroam eliminates the need for a guest account.
Daystar University students, faculty, and staff can use that wireless network when visiting participating eduroam universities. Visitors to Daystar University from participating universities can use DAYSTAR UNIVERSITY's "eduroam" wireless network, too.
How does eduroam work?
Depending on the device you're using, you may be able to select the "eduroam" wireless network and log in using your username and password provided by your home institution. DAYSTAR UNIVERSITY users will use their Daystar login ID and password to log in.

Having started in Europe, eduroam has gained momentum throughout the research and education community worldwide and is now available in 74 territories worldwide. Currently eduroam has been implemented at the following Universities in Kenya:

Yes, eduroam is a secure network. eduroam takes the same security precautions as other DAYSTAR UNIVERSITY networks, including the use of the 802.1x authentication mechanism
How to connect to eduroam
Before trying to connect to eduroam, ensure you get your login credentials from IT Support team firstname.lastname@example.org or Extension 323, 293, 279, 681. It is easy to connect to eduroam.
