Garissa University Benchmarks with Daystar University ODeL

[Tuesday January 23, 2024], Daystar University Open, Distance and eLearning (ODeL) Directorate hosted a team from Garissa University for a benchmarking visit.
The team comprised the Acting Vice-chancellor, Prof. Irungu Ng'ang'a, Director ODeL and Continuing Education, Dr. Enoch Mogendi, a consultant for Garissa University, Cyprian Ratemo, and Prof. Ahmed Mohammed, a Research Professor.

The Daystar University host team included ODeL Director Dr. Caroline Ayuya, ODeL Deputy Director Dr. Martin Munyao, Ag. Director of Academic Affairs, Dr. Joannes Kyongo, and Senior ICT Systems Analyst, Mr. Thomas Makunda.
Dr. Ayuya explained the operations of ODeL and how it propelled the University during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The team was given a guided tour of the Nairobi Campus.
