Daystar University Partners with Christian Impact Mission
On Thursday 11th April, Daystar University signed a partnership MOU with Yatta-based Christian Impact Mission (CIM), marking the beginning of a long-term relationship for training and student internships.
Discussions towards this partnership begun in 2017.Daystar University was represented by the Vice Chancellor Prof. Laban Ayiro and the DVC Academic Affairs Prof. Bernard Boyo. Speaking at the meeting, the Vice-Chancellor Prof. Ayiro talked about the endless pool of possibilities the partnership could deliver.
He said the collaboration had the capacity to attract huge funding due its significance to the country’s economy especially in empowering communities towards sustainability. He noted that publications that Daystar University will produce will also give CIM a global audience and continue to enhance its ministry.
CIM is a non-governmental development that agency that seeks to develop models and training tools for community transformation. It is led by Bishop Titus Masika and his wife Dr. Agnes Masika, a B.Ed graduate of Daystar University. The partnership will be run by Daystar’s Academic Affairs Division through the School of Human and Social Sciences.
