Farewell to the Outgoing Daystar Compassion and Care Centre (DCCC) Leaders as New Leadership Takes Over.
Daystar Compassion and Care Centre (DCCC) on 14th Friday September held a farewell for the outgoing DCCC executive at the Athi River Campus Amphitheatre. The handover party brought together DCCC members from both Athi River and Valley Road Campus to celebrate their role in transforming students’ lives.
As he welcomed the incoming team, the Student Counselor Mr. Allan Ball acknowledged the outgoing leaders for a good tenure in office. , Drawing from Ecclesiastes 3:1, Mr. Ball encouraged the incoming team to purpose to make their term in office a good season. “You can only make a season good through focus, networking, communication and prayers,” he said, amplifying the need to make DCCC Shine.”

“DCCC members, please shine, be the light and salt, educate your peers, counsel them and talk to them,” advised the Associate Dean of Students Ms. Irene Kimani.
Ms. Kimani also took the opportunity to welcome Mrs. Irene Tonje, a staff in the Human Resource department and a Psychology Student, who will be interning as a Counselor.
The event culminated with awarding of the outgoing team and cake cutting to appreciate them for their input in DCCC.
