Biometric Registration kicks off
In a memo issued on September 4, students have been asked to ensure that they avail themselves for biometric registration. The process which will be overseen by the ICT Manager Mr. Solomon Mburu and Mr. Paul Nganga from the Registrar’s office will run from September 4- 29.
The biometric registration has been divided according to different schools and students are advised to check when their schools are conducting the process to avoid missing inclusion in the biometric records as bonafide students of the University. For registration, students are required to carry their original academic certificates and National Identification Cards. Biometric student registration is a government requirement through a directive by the Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology where universities are expected to maintain biometric records for all students and staff.
