Vice Chancellor Recognizes Exceptional Commitment to Bible Study
On Tuesday 2nd August, the Vice Chancellor Prof. Timothy Wachira met and acknowledged members of the University community who have achieved 100 percent attendance for two consecutive semesters in the 2016/2017 academic year.
For the first time, the group registered the highest number ever in only one semester. The hope is that this will inspire others to be more committed to Bible Study.
Speaking to the team, the Vice Chancellor Prof. Timothy Wachira appreciated their continued dedication and passion for ministry, encouraging them not to tire in work of the Lord. He encouraged them
to join the first cohort to be trained by the Chaplaincy for ministry.
Daystar’s Chaplain Rev Steven Nduto shared that this practice is going to continue with the intention of encouraging those who are committed that they are doing the right thing. He also thanked the team for the support they have given to Chaplaincy for being dedicated and willing to minister together with them.
Members of the group took turns to express gratitude for being in Daystar and being given the opportunity to nurture people through God’s word. Most of them testified how they had seen lives transformed as they mentored them through friendship.
