Experience in University Teaching

  • Over 20 years in international development, leading in diverse programmes in management and capacity enhancement; commenced university teaching in 2008 at Daystar University. Currently, a senior Lecturer and Head of Development Studies Department since 1st August 2015. Teach in the following areas: Social Research; Social Statistics; Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation; Community Health and Health Promotion; and Diverse Approaches to Development.
  • In July through December 2011, I was the acting Head of Department, Institute of Child Development as well as the secretary to the Child symposium planning committee. This was an international conference drawing participants from Europe, Americas, Asia, and Africa. The symposium was successfully held on 9th to 11th November 2011 with a total of between 115 and 125 delegates attending every day. I played a leading role in the development of the accredited monitoring and evaluation curriculum for a Master of Arts in Monitoring and Evaluation at Daystar University.
