General Summary

I am a lecturer of English and Literature and I like teaching. I enjoy teaching because it gives me an opportunity to interact with students from different continents and countries. I have  taught in Daystar since  1999 to date.

One of the courses that I am very passionate about is Basic English.  I have taught students from China, Korea, DR Congo, South Sudan, Burundi, Rwanda, Chad and other non-Anglophone countries. These students come to Daystar University  with very little knowledge of English or none  and  teaching them to a level where they can express themselves in English is very fulfilling to me.  It makes me feel that I have transformed a person who can then cause change wherever he or she is.
As a member of the department of Language and Performing Arts, I have done the following duties:

  • Exam officer
  • Coordinating courses (ENG.111, ENG.098, ENG,096, ENG.112 and ENG.214)
