Summary

Moriasi Albert Maranga is a lecturer of business logistics in the commerce department. He joined Daystar University in 2009 as a part-time lecturer and later in 2010 as a full time lecturer. Prior to joining Daystar University, Maranga worked for a Consulting firm ASK International Ltd, where he served as a Management consultant.

He has successfully supervised more than 20 MBA theses and participated in local and international conferences. He successfully led a team of students from the school in the Google Online Marketing Challenge to emerge as the Africa and Middle East winners in business strategy in the GOMC 2016 challenge in Dublin.

He has been involved as the lead person in the team that developed the MBA Supply Chain for the department, and has been involved in the team that developed the LLB programme. He is currently the Patron of the Purchasing and Logistics Association of Daystar, (P_LAD), a position he has held since 2012.

  • He holds a Master of Business Administration and A Bachelor of Science degrees as well as a Post Graduate Diploma.

Additional Information

  • Maranga is a consultant, Trainer and researcher with ASK International Ltd and has consulted in a number of areas both locally and internationally.
  • He is the Chairman of the Supply Chain Association for Researchers, Consultants and Educationists.
  • He is a Parishioner of St Michael's Church, where he serves as the chairman of the Justice and Peace Ministry, and a member of the Parish Pastoral Council.
